The 28-year-old, along with Ally Anderson of Brisbane and Ebony Marinoff of Adelaide, will be among the first players to reach the historic milestone this weekend.

Since the AFLW’s founding in 2017, Bates has participated in every home and away game in addition to several finals with the Lions.

Throughout her remarkable career, she has won a premiership, been named the league’s best and fairest four times, been selected for three All Australian teams, and more.

Bates was proud of herself for having used her time in the AFLW thus far.

“I am quite proud to be among the first players to reach this milestone alongside Ally and Ebony Marinoff who are obviously huge players in our game,” the Hawks midfielder stated.

“I’m definitely proud to be a part of the history of AFLW and seeing how much it’s grown over the years.

“It’s exciting to see how far it’s come and how far it still will go.”

When the Hawks play Port Adelaide at Kinetic Stadium, Frankston, on Sunday at 5:05 p.m., for the last time this season, they hope to win for Bates.

Hawks supporters are urged to take advantage of this exclusive two-for-one ticket deal for the match.
