LB Lions Late in today’s fourth quarter, Alex Anzalone was injured and did not return to the game.

The Detroit Lions’ winning run against the division-rival Green Bay Packers ended this afternoon, proving that all good things must come to an end. Furthermore, linebacker Alex Anzalone was lost late in the fourth quarter and did not come back.

Anzalone suffered a late-quarter injury.

The loss of a key member of their defence put the Lions in a difficult situation. Anzalone appeared to have suffered a hand/wrist injury, so the training staff had to take him to the sidelines for evaluation and treatment.
Anzalone has racked up 54 tackles and three sacks so far in 2023.

The Packers would emerge victorious today, winning by a 29-22 final score. The win improves their record to 5-6, while the Lions dropped to 8-3.

Amidst a successful season for the Lions, the potential loss of a crucial defensive player like Anzalone could pose a significant setback.
Fortunately, with over a week until their next game against the New Orleans Saints on December 3, both Anzalone and the Lions have a window for recovery. Here’s hoping Anzalone will be fully healed and back in action by then.
