Transfer Defensive Back Syeed Gibbs Commits to Georgia Tech
Syeed Gibbs, a Rhode Island transfer defensive back, announced his commitment to Brent Key and the Yellow Jackets on social media today. This season, Gibbs had 52 tackles, three tackles for loss, six pass breakups, and three interceptions. He still has three years of eligibility left
Gibbs joins Tennessee’s Warren Burrell as the second defensive back transfer to pledge to Georgia Tech. He is Georgia Tech’s sixth transfer commitment overall
Burrell was an SEC-level starter at cornerback for Tennessee before he got hurt and if he can stay healthy, this could be a huge get for Georgia Tech. They could look to keep adding to this position as well
