Over the next few days, Bama247 will be “building the board” of Alabama targets for the 2025 class. The February Dead Period ends on March 3, and visitors are planning trips back to campus to meet the new staff in Tuscaloosa.

On Tuesday morning, we delved into the quarterback position, providing valuable insight into Alabama’s pursuit of a signal caller in the 2025 class. On Tuesday afternoon, we remained in the backfield and provided feedback on the running back position. On Wednesday morning, we looked at the positions that are getting the most attention, and properly so: receivers and tight ends.

We’re now entering into the trenches, but with the offensive line. Alabama signed three offensive linemen for the 2024 class: Casey Poe, Joseph Ionata, and William Sanders, all of whom are interior offensive linemen. The overall talent pool for the offensive line was down last year, but the 2025 class has plenty of potential at every position along the line. Alabama, like almost every other program, will most likely focus on the tackle position.

Kalen DeBoer and the new staff have made multiple re-offers/offers and visited many schools of Top247 offensive tackles, with whom the team has established relationships dating back to their time in Washington. Chris Kapilovic, the new offensive line coach, has some contacts with 2025 prospects from his brief time at Baylor in the same job. An in-state offensive tackle has confirmed visit intentions for this spring, and more Top247 prospects should rush into Tuscaloosa in the coming weeks.
