According to Fabrizio Romano, Victor Osimhen was left “furious” by a post on the team’s TikTok account, and Napoli may be obliged to sell him next summer.

Tuesday night, Osimhen’s agent, Roberto Calenda, released a statement regarding the strange film that appeared to be making fun of the Nigerian striker.

The strange film was released after Osimhen assisted the Italian squad in winning the Serie A championship, the club’s first in thirty years.

“What happened today on Napoli’s official profile on the TikTok platform is not acceptable,” Calenda said on X. Initially made public, a video making fun of Victor has now been removed.

“A serious fact that causes the player very serious harm and worsens the treatment the boy has been subjected to in the recent period between media trials and fake news.”

“We reserve the right to take legal action and any helpful initiative to protect Victor,” the agent continued.

The clip of the striker’s missed penalty from their encounter against Bologna on Sunday was included in the movie, along with an odd, sped-up voiceover.

During the 0-0 tie, there was conflict between Osimhen and Rudi Garcia, the manager of Napoli. The 24-year-old Nigerian striker was spotted berating his manager as he was removed with four minutes left in the game.

Osimhen’s current contract is up in the summer of 2025, although the team would like to extend it.

This is beginning to seem less and less plausible, which may present a significant market opportunity for the striker in 2019.

Over the summer, Manchester United was mentioned, but Chelsea and Arsenal are now reportedly interested in Osimhen for next year.

Osimhen and Napoli’s relationship is in shambles, and Romano has suggested that as he reaches the final year of his contract, he could be sold next summer.
