since Roma will not recruit Rasmus Kristensen on a permanent deal from Leeds United in the summer of 2024, in as much as he is currently struggling to make an impact.

Daniel Farke finds it difficult to keep track of the several loan transactions that Leeds approved during the summer window and what they’re doing at their new teams.

It is worth keeping track of though, knowing that some of these players might be bringing in significant funds next summer, or be unwanted at both ends.

At Roma, is Rasmus Kristensen having trouble?

Being left out of the Roma squad for the Europa League will have been a bitter early blow for right-back Rasmus Kristensen, forced to be omitted due to financial fair play rules.

It means the Dane is limited to just domestic competition this season, having made seven appearances in the Serie A so far, with one assist to his name and two clean sheets.

He was named on the bench for the last two games, coming on in the second half of both, with Roma boasting three right-backs in their squad under Jose Mourinho at present.

Will Roma retain his services?

According to Danish outlet TV2 Sport, the Italian outfit have already made their mind up on the 26-year-old.

They share that Mourinho’s club won’t be making Kristensen a permanent signing when his loan deal concludes at the end of this season.

There was no option-to-buy included in the right-back’s deal to move to the Italian capital, meaning that if they aren’t keen to sign him, they are not forced to do so.

Do you want any of the loan players to return?

Because it didn’t take us long, it doesn’t surprise me that Roma are already not at all convinced that Kristensen is a good long-term investment.

It just seemed that the rigors of playing in the highest division of football were too much for him while he was a member of our team.

He should move on next summer because I anticipate Leeds will make every effort to get rid of him as soon as possible.
